Student Programs
Our Association works in cooperation with institutions of higher education in Oklahoma to promote, develop, and enhance professional management training.
We also encourage students in the area of Public Administration/Affairs to consider careers in key management positions in Oklahoma's cities and towns.
Scholarship
Each year we offer $5,000 in scholarships for one or more graduate or undergraduate seniors enrolled in public administration with an emphasis on urban/municipal management.
Student Membership
We offer a Student Membership to our organization and invite public administration students to attend our conferences.
Internship Program
The City Management Association of Oklahoma (CMAO) and Oklahoma Municipal Management Services (OMMS) has partnered with municipalities across the state to provide an internship program for students interested in municipal government.
