A $5,000 SCHOLARSHIP to be awarded to one or divided among more than one student.
For graduate students and undergraduate seniors enrolled in public administration/affairs with particular emphasis on urban/municipal management.
WHO MAY APPLY
Applicants must be accepted in any accredited university in the State of Oklahoma, and demonstrate a serious intent to pursue a career in urban management with emphasis on municipal administration. Scholarships will be awarded to undergraduates enrolled in Public Administration and graduate students. Graduate students and those pursuing careers in municipal administration will be given first consideration.
SCHOLARSHIP AWARD PERIOD The period of the scholarship award is one year (30 to 36 hours of course credit), commencing with the fall semester.
APPLICATION DEADLINE AND CRITERIA
Formal announcement of the award will be made by the CMAO President following review of the applications. The recipient(s) will attend the luncheon or dinner at the Winter Conference in order to receive the award. A report from the recipient may be required by CMAO at the end of the fall semester.
